Walcott Communications is a specialist research impact training consultancy that helps individuals and organisations realise meaningful economic and societal impact from their research. Born out of a passion for a straightforward approach to knowledge exchange in the Higher Education sector, Saskia Walcott, Founder and CEO, became a pioneer provider of impact training in the UK in 2010. Today, our services have grown to support the impact lifecycle, from planning and strategy to evidencing and evaluation.
We work with academics and senior teams to deliver strategic impact support, build a positive research culture, develop effective impact monitoring and evaluation, and achieve REF results. We understand researchers' challenges in identifying pathways to impact and communicating the outcomes, and, through our impact skills training, we equip them with the tools, techniques, and confidence to generate meaningful social and economic impact from their research.
